I asked a fellow passenger what all the "white stuff" below was. When he told me it was "_____ Lake", I had a brief moment of stupidity and hadn't considered the name of the City I was headed to. Apparently I haven't landed at this airport in the past!
This lake is the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi River and bigger than I had ever imagined at 75 miles long and about 35 miles wide. It's green, white and odd colors almost appeared like a moldy piece of food from high in the sky and it's shoreline shifts in some places as much as 15 miles. A truly amazing site!
What lake is it?

Definitely Salt Lake :)
very cute blog! Loving the design of it.
YES! The answer is Salt Lake and HarmSkills, can you believe the white stuff IS Salt?? It was truly the oddest lake I've ever seen. Trails running through it in many places and bridges. An amazing site to see if you ever fly into SLC.
THANKS Travelhugger! I like it too and I'm constantly working on what I want to add and change to make it better.
