The beautiful colors of the terrain wouldn't make you think "Volcano", but it certainly is! This sleeping mid-pacific volcano harbors many endangered species, some of which exist nowhere else. One being the "Ne-Ne" bird, and the state bird of this Island. Where is this volcano and what it's name?.JPG)

Yes FourJedis, your right! Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii is the beautiful volcano we visited on our recent trip to Maui. Unlike the Road to Hana, I HIGHLY recommend the drive up to Haleakala and hope to write a post with more pictures soon!
